While John started his career in sales, his career path is best described as an entrepreneurial repeat offender.  He has built and sold a number of companies over the past 20 years, in industries as diverse as  Manufacturing (Australia) / Commercial Building Services (Canada and USA) / Hosted Software / Call Centre (Canada) / Venture Finance (Canada) / Clean Energy (North America).

As a natural consequence of founding and divesting, John has been through the full capital cycle (securing funding, building teams, executing the vision and creating liquidity) several times, and while the financial rewards have been gratifying, he is most proud of having built behind sustainable businesses with strong teams, passionate cultures and enduring process.

In addition to his passion for working with creative business leaders, John loves to paint, cook, ski, jog, rollerblade, roast coffee or do just about anything that gives him an excuse to hang out with his wife Suzanne and their two kids, Noel and Jacqueline.
